Little Rock Film Fest Day 4

June busts out all over as the Little Rock Film Fest programming runs for over 12 hours on Day 4.

The films screened today with filmmakers present will be The Trouble with Truth; Conlon Nancarrow: Virtuoso of the Player Piano; Running the Distance; Go the Distance: Helping End Homelessness; A Sister’s Call; Gimme the Loot; I Am Not a Hipster; Daisy Bates: First Lady of Little Rock; Clean Lines, Open Spaces; First Winter; The List; Supporting Characters; and On Down the Line.

Also screening today are In My Mother’s Arms; Bookers Place: A Mississippi Story; Teddy Bear; The Eyes of Thailand; The World Before Her; Once in a Lullaby; The PS22 Chorus Story; Bay of All Saints; Eating Alabama; Beasts of the Southern Wild; Andrew Bird: Fever Year; and Town of Runners.

The World Shorts which will be screened are (in the Other Worldly grouping) “Golden Ears,” “Man in Fear,” “HWY,” “Animeditation,” “Bunker 731,” “The God Phone”; (in the True to Life grouping) “Mr. Christmas,” “Idle Hour,” “This Is Our House,” and “Beneath the White City Lights.” Filmmakers will be present.

The Ark Shorts screened on day 4 are (in the Road Most Traveled grouping) “Tree,” “John Wayne’s Bed,” “The Proposal,” and “Still Life.”  Filmmakers will be present for these as well.

Among the special events are a “Stories for the Web Screen,” a Conversation with Jay Russell; and the Sync or Swim Riverboat Party.  There is also an Argenta Arts District Rooftop Party available only to filmmakers, sponsors and Gold pass holders.
