It runs from 6pm to 9pm.  Admission is $5, free for museum members.  The program is for those 21 and up.

Activities:
-Tinkering with Solo Cups
-Tinkering with beer bottles (make beer bottles into glasses)
-Beer pong physics
-Flip Cup physics
-Trick Shots (using a catapult, vacuum cannon, trebuchet, hair dryer and strike launcher)

Zoo Brew tonight at the Little Rock Zoo

his fun craft beer festival takes place in and around Zoo grounds at Cafe Africa and the Civitan Pavilion and features dozens of beers to sample, live music to jam to featuring The Delta Donnie Band, and some of the best food trucks in central Arkansas who will have food available for purchase.

Food trucks include: Agrilla the Bun, Hot Rod Wieners, Katmandumomo, Loblolly Creamry, Pie Hole, Southern Gourmasian, Waffle Wagon, and Bratwurst and Sausage served-up fresh in Cafe Africa! Your ticket includes admission to the event, beer pours, and a free souvenir Zoo Brew cup! Food sold separately.

The Science of Space tonight at the Museum of Discovery

But they can hear you have fun learning about the Final Frontier tonight at the Museum of Discovery.

Tonight offers a great lineup for May’s Science After Dark! The Central Arkansas Astronomical Society will be there with telescopes and more, a planetarium will be set up downstairs, Kevin Delaney will present ‪#‎thespacestrugglesarereal‬ and more!

Plus don’t forget to bring cash for Damgoode Pies and Stone’s Throw Brewing!

Science After Dark is only for those kids who are aged 21 years and up.  Admission is $5, but is free for Museum members.

The Science of Paleontology at tonight’s Museum of Discovery “Science After Dark”

Adults may not get spring break, but tonight is a chance to feel like a student again by learning fun facts about dinosaurs and fossils. And this time, you can learn about science while drinking a beer!

Here’s what you can expect at tonight’s month’s Science After Dark:

  • Dr. Joe Daniel will answer fossil questions
  • The museum’s new dinosaur exhibit will be highlighted
  • A lot of fun exploring the museum and it’s interactive exhibits

Beer sold by Stone’s Throw Brewery and the aptly named Fossil Cove brewing; pizza by the slice sold by new MOD neighbor Damgoode Pies.

Each month the Museum of Discovery hosts “Science after Dark” for adults aged 21 and up.  This month’s theme is “Science of the Heart.”

Science of Dance and Movement tonight at Museum of Discovery, featuring Ballet Arkansas

science of danceScience After Dark: The Science of Dance and Movement takes place tonight! The Museum has partnered with Ballet Arkansas and ACANSA Arts Festival to bring you some great moves, including demonstrations by Ballet Arkansas dancers.

They will also explore how nanotechnology is changing dance, learn about locomotion and much more! The regular Science After Dark refreshment friends from Damgoode Pies, Stone’s Throw Brewing and Juanita’s Cantina will all be there too!

The event takes place at the Museum of Discovery tonight from 6-8 p.m.

These monthly programs (normally the last Wednesday of the month) are for adults 21 and up.

Passholders for ACANSA are admitted for free.  Museum of Discovery members receive free admission too.  For those who are neither members nor ACANSA passholders, the cost is only $5.00.
